So Marvel vs Capcom 3 has been released and now people look towards the next cross-over title, namely Street Fighter x Tekken.
So far we know that Ryu and Chun-Li are in the game from Capcoms side and Kazuya and Nina are in from the Tekken side.
Dan was also shown during the preview trailer but has yet to be seen in a gameplay situation.
Also both Pac-Man and Megaman are seen chasing each other at the end of the trailer.

Looks like we will finally get a good Tekken game

So Marvel vs Capcom 3 has been released and now people look towards the next cross-over title, namely Street Fighter x Tekken.
Street Fighter X Tekken is an upcoming crossover fighting game being developed by Capcom. The game was announced at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con International by Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono. The game is set to release for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
The game will feature characters from both the Street Fighter and Tekken series. As the game is being made by Capcom, with Namco being involved more in the licensing of the Tekken cast, the gameplay will be based on the 2D mechanics of Street Fighter IV as opposed to Tekken, and will feature projectile moves such as the hadouken. The demo shown at the San Diego Comic-Con showed characters Ryu and Kazuya Mishima fighting each other, being tagged by Street Fighter's Chun-Li and Tekken's Nina Williams. The characters were shown performing tag team super combos that combined their partner's attacks, similar to those in Street Fighter EX3

Dan was also shown during the preview trailer but has yet to be seen in a gameplay situation.

There are plenty people in SF that don't have projectile attacks either so I don't see the problem :p
As for Tekken x Street Fighter, it will most likely be called Juggle fighter :p lol

what i don't get is how they are gonna change the traditional tekken fighting system to pull of moves using SF button style. And does that mean the number of moves one is able to perform with tekken players would be decreased? When is this being released anyway? Please don't say 2012.

I just hope they use SSF4 as a standard for the features in all their fighting games from now on, cuz MvC3 fracking failed horribly in that aspect -_-
btw tekken x sf and sf x tekken are two different games right?
i just hope neither of them play like tekken, its such a horrible fighting game -_-

Im actually looking really forward to this, up until the end of 4 i really enjoyed the Tekken cast so throwing them into a 2D sf style fighting game is awesome.

Yeah I am sure SF x Tekken will be awesome. Really not interested in Tekken x SF which is why I am glad SF x Tekken is out first, think it's the end of this year. Well get more info after the 3DS launch in America apparently, so more gameplay and characters. Plus the game looks great.

This plays nothing like SF from anything we've seen so not sure how any comparison is being made. It's a vs game it will be over the top, it even looks so much more different to SFIV in terms of style and movement. Wonder if it's a enhanced version of the game engine from SFIV

I expect theyre probably using an overhauled SF4 engine, unleyy they wanted to redo all the characters to make use of the MVC3 engine.
Havent seen any gameplay trailers of this yet.

If it does then it is a very revised engine so basically not even the same engine. Will wait for more gameplay but it's pretty much like comparing MvC3's engine to Resi 5. Their origin might be the same but they are pretty much totally different in relation to the game.
Hopefully the same stands true for Tekken x SF, cause that Tekken engine needs new life

Sorry, what? It is not the same thing at all. What the heck are you talking about? The gameplay engine used in MvsC3 is obviously nothing like RE5.
As for SFXT being like SF4... well here, it looks pretty much like SF4 if you ask me from the very first gameplay footage they showed off.
