New expansion announced at Blizzcon.
Official site
Preview trailer:
Features:
- New playable race, the Pandaren. They will be neautral until level 10 and then the player will need to choose to play horde or alliance. Classes include monk (new), hunter, mage, priest, rogue, shaman and warrior
- New class:Monk. Will be able to DPS, heal and tank.
- New area: Pandaria
- Level cap increased to 90
- New Dungouns
- Pet battles
- New Talent System
This all looks pretty awesome. I have been trying to stay away from WoW as its way to addictive for me, but I will need to check this out. Pandaria looks amazing

If I could use a keyboard properly I would buy a PC just to play WoW. But I believe if you're a n00b with a pc keyboard, then playing this is a waste of time.

Never got into WoW, tried on two occasions and just lost interest after a day or two.
I have seen a lot of people chuckle at the new pet features, and comparing it to Pokemon, as well as the inevitable prophecies of failure with Blizzard making "noob friendly" changes.

I for one dont see how WoW could get any more noob friendly apart from a large portion of it's players pulling their heads out their arses

Not at all. You do get the hardcore players that look down on mouse clicking and have everything hot-keyed, but it really is intuitive to play using the mouse. And you will always get the players that think they are better then everyone else and throw the “N” word around constantly, but you can get ignore them and move on.
You really just need the keyboard to walk and even that can be done with the mouse. Using hotkeys will help you play faster but that only really matters if you are running in a raid with a large group or doing PVP. But really your choice of keyboard vs mouse should come down to what makes your gaming experience better. I played a combination of both keyboard and mouse and progressed to end game content with in a medium to high ranked guild. They were also not elist noob callers and were all about the fun.

[/url]. Monk, Will be able to DPS, heal and tank.
Put me off already...that is WAY too over powered for a char, 2 Roles are fine ie DPS and Tank or Heal and DPS, but Heal, Tank and DPS, EVERYONE will want a char like that, which will flood the world with Monks, so every instance will have the same strat everytime you play it the strat will be Tank and Spank...boring.

Making the Pandaren a playable race, Blizzard knows how to get me interested in WoW again... sneaky bastards. Bears are awesome, running around Azeroth as one, just as awesome.

Getting excited for this now! Only a few days left
I used a 7 day-free-promo from Blizz and hopped on to check what has changed. I haven't actively played for more a year now (quit just after Cata was released) and last popped on 6 months ago with another free-day-promo. I am amazed (and confused) at how much has changed! I have promised myself I won’t become addicted again and will only be on for a month, but I plan to make the most of that time
My enhance shaman is still in mostly blues and seems my resto gear is better then my enhance
, but I will get him up to level 90 with MoP for sure. I don’t know how I feel about the Talent system replacing the Skill tree. At the moment it just seem like they have made it too simple. Here is what I decide my shammie’s talents will be to level up.

I might level my Druid or DK, but considering that they are a healer and tank respectively and I have been out of the game so long that doesn’t seem like the best idea
