@ apparently they only really look after licenses that they are paid to protect (local companies / license holders that give them money to do so) as battling piracy is an expensive proceedure...

Always is quite ironic that there is an anti-piracy stand there and just a couple meters away there is a store with nothing but bootlegs. Sad this is the store is always packed with people buying that crap.

Tiggi, the guys didnt care. So no point really... they just care that they are paying for the stand, actually makes me sad, stupid Lawless country, Anyway...

I don't think they care who goes there, as long as they pay up to have a stand, they can do what they like.
I saw one stand that had nothing but cellphone covers and was haggling passer-bys constantly.

@ all the news of knock-off stuff

The worst was the knock off figurines - cos they were priced almost as much as teh real thing. I was almost fooled and tempted at the same time by a Konata(Lucky Star) Nendoroid. I didn't know if it was legit or not, but i didn't take it anyway. I figured that the odds of this being real amongst a whole buch of fakeys was too slim.
My friend saw someone walking out really proudly with a R620 black rock shooter though. How do you tell these people that what they bought is fake? I would be crushed if i found out that something i paid a whole bunch of money for wasn't the real thing.

Especially the Cosplay day - but a bit too crowded for me to walk around.
Highlights> Cosplay, Artists alley, SFxT, Tekken Tag2, visiting awx for some real anime and figurines.

If you bought it from that site - its real. If you bought it at rage from a store that rhymes with "bark harniville", I suggest you take a look at your PM's. Not all of their stuff was Bootleg, but unfortunately some where. Now I hope I'm wrong.

lol well after searching through google a bit i found quite a few articles about BRS bootlegs, now i can't even tell if its real or not. I'm not saying I'd buy a bootleg, but if I bought a figure I thought was the GSC fig and got a really good bootleg, I wouldn't complain.
