Zombia11 March at 13:42 Borderlands 2 as well. Gearbox honestly tried too hard with the whole co-op multiplayer thing and kinda ruined a lot of the fun experience that the first game had. :/ It shouldn't take forever to get a legendary weapon. And it shouldn't feel like the legendary weapon is something common and weak... The whole Golden Key thing as well was such a messed up feature. It's NOT an mmo shooter. Treat it like a normal game omw.
KnightFall50011 March at 13:20 Aliens Colonial Marines. Is another fine example!!!
Tea11 March at 13:04 yeah - that's why i think clarity would save them a lot of drama going forward! Just be upfront with the consumer. We are not as stupid as they think we are sometimes and access to gaming news sites now makes the "drama" even bigger!
IkariX11 March at 13:02 Yeah because the final game looked better. Fact also.
Supa11 March at 12:58 I remember that first e3 killzone 2 trailer, and being really disappointed that it wasn't like that in the final game
IkariX11 March at 12:44 Neogaf always brings things to light. Neogaf.....never forgets
Tea11 March at 12:40 @ Zombia - yeah, I love E3 and all the announcements/ trailers. I think going forward publishers are going to have to make sure they have clear labels stating "target engine renders"," actual in game" etc. all that constant communication is becoming key in this industry with our instant internet, news tweets era.
Zombia11 March at 12:23 There are lots more examples but yeah... Trailers = BS Real gameplay stuff closer to the release date is what really matters.
Zombia11 March at 12:22 E3 trailers LIE. Blatant disregard for anything. ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN ETC.
I remember when Crysis 1 was announced with a long 17 minute long trailer. They explained it being open world and there were multiple pathways to do things and it was just so amazing and stuff from that trailer. Then the final game came out and it was nothing like what they just hyped up...
