@Tea I have tried all the codes and none of them have worked and apparently they only work for DVD region. Took in to a Samsung affiliate, no luck. So because I was told that it could be unlocked I am going to take it back (consumer act so much win ) And then I will get a hackable LG player that can be unlocked through a DVD this week Hopefully that helps.

BTW, did you come right with your bluray player? It seems you need one of those special remotes to region free it...
