Morschee26 May at 8:03 Sheesh! Last night a Shrieker in The Witcher 3 sure showed me that I was a bit in over my head trying to take him on lol!!!
I will let him be for now, but i'll clip his wings for him soon!!!
Magius26 May at 7:51 @Zombia I had the same thing, it fried a couple of circuit breakers on my D Board. Cost me R5k to repair, I lodged a claim and got zero response. I never followed up with them, but I know a lady at work gets her Councillor involved and that works.
Lurch26 May at 7:38 @Zombia - probably a good idea then to give Citypower grief. It could still be related to load shedding as apparently how it's implemented varies depending on infrastructure - some municipalities can do everything remotely, others have people manually go to the local substations/switchesto turn off/on power. Perhaps it's related to the procedure used?
CRAVINHO26 May at 0:45 everyone is playing the witcher 3 and I'm just sitting here playing TLOU online lol
Zombia25 May at 23:06 @Lurch
Quite old. We did get all our wiring re-done. What happened was a power surge. Not really load shedding. The power went out and came back in like 5 seconds and stuff got fried. My neighbours also had some damage. We're gonna lodge a claim with Citypower.
Kylo_Ren25 May at 22:56 I loved Dragon Age: Inquisition. But it pales in comparison to Witcher 3. Dragon Age is like a B-movie compared to Witcher 3. DA:I was amazing though. When I thought CDPR couldn't out do Witcher 2. They go and make a near perfect game.
Lurch25 May at 16:21 @Zombia - how old is your property? Maybe you need to get the mains board and wiring checked? I've got some surge-protection multi-plugs for my electronics but I've yet to see any other household appliance show any sign of damage from load-shedding?
