Uncharted: Golden Abyss. I am honestly addicted to it and it has made me fall madly in love with my new best friend, my Playstation Vita.

Being made by a diffirent studio, Bend Studio (by the same guys that made Resistance Retribution PSP) I must admit that I was unsure as to whether this game would feel like an uncharted title but every little aspect of Golden Abyss makes you love the uncharted brand even more.

The Touch screen aspect (front and back) adds so much to the gameplay that I am positive if a new Uncharted comes out on PS3 that it will feel like its missing a key gameplay mechanic because of these new additions. There are no "gimmicks" to it, the whole touch screen, motion sensing, camera light sensing, photo, climbing, attacking, Paper etching, piecing together maps back together etc. features now included create a new gameplay dynamic that uncharted needed to keep it from becoming a 3rd person run and gunner, and give you a whole new way to interact with the characters in their environments, puzzles and even light sources.

Being a prequel to Uncharted 1, I was happy to hear many of the first games songs being included in the PSV game, keeping ground with the games jungle vibe - In fact, fans of the first uncharted will feel right at home as this game, although action packed, is not as gunplay focused as 2 and 3. The characters feel like the original cast (including Nolan north reprising his role) and the new characters are intersting enough to make cameo's in future Uncharted titles.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss Plays like its big brother PS3 versions and looks so good that you forget you are playing on a handheld! Scores a solid 9/10 from me
