Description

It's been two years since Jackie Estacado, now Don of the Franchetti crime family, used The Darkness to kill the men responsible for his girlfriend's murder. He's been unable to shake the memory of Jenny's death since bottling up his supernatural power and now The Darkness wants out.

A sudden, unprovoked attack on Jackie's life heralds the start of a full-scale mob war which has clearly been orchestrated by some outside force. The botched attempt opens the door for The Darkness to re-emerge, and sets Jackie on a journey to hell and worse as he unravels the mystery behind the attack and the motivations of The Darkness itself.

Limited Edition includes:

  • Alternate darkling outfit 'Crazy Abdul'.
  • Two character ability upgrades, Gourmet Hearts (provides bonus for eating hearts) and Relic Hunter (locates collectible items in the world ).

Everything you loved about Darkness 1 x 2

This Game is AWESOME!!! Feels just like the Darkness 1 but with more gore. All the story, action and emotional interaction still intact, and im most cases, improved upon.

I also, highly recommend to guys that havent even played 1 - it has a full back story for you and is easy to pick up on play. Great visuals in the game- really was worried about the impact cellshading as opposed to the previous game's realistic style but cellshading perfectly suits the world the story is set in. There are times, like in Jackie's mansion where I just stopped and took in the little details like the art pieces he has decorating his walls as I could not believe DE put that much effort and creativity into capturing the Autenticity of what The Darkness is. Digital Extremes has done a great job of capturing all the aspects that people loved in the Darkness and improving on them!!

And most importantly the Darkness in Jackeeiee is back, and twice as evil!! 8.5/10
