Vanquish depicts a near future scenario in which Russia and the United States are fighting for ownership of the world's fast-depleting energy resources. The US has created a space station designed to harness energy from the sun, but it's captured by Russian forces that use its solar energy to destroy San Francisco. Russia then threatens to annihilate New York unless its rival surrenders.

A third-person cover-based shooter, it places you in the boots of Sam, a US government agent tasked with recapturing the space station from Russian controlled robots before the enemy can wield its mighty power again. Kitted out with a futuristic battle suit, Sam's an athletic combatant equipped with a deadly arsenal of weapons and ruthless martial arts skills.
