Magius27 May at 9:55 @Lurch I hope not. There have been persistent rumours and shareholders agitating for MS to sell off the Xbox division. If the XB1 doesn't meet targets at group level those calls will just grow louder
Lurch27 May at 9:53 @Magius - there's been a few cases recently though where the Xbox One has been the better performer, though at the expense of overall resolution. Still, when it comes to marketing and PR, that probably doesn't help sales. I doubt Microsoft would pull out of consoles but I guess this'll be a short generation.
Magius27 May at 9:40 @Lurch saw something this morning that the patch will lock the XB1 version to 30FPS. I never though that the differences between the two new consoles were that much of a practical difference, but the mounting evidence is changing my mind. MS really sodded this generation up for themselves, hopefully this isn't used as an excuse for them to exit the hardware market in the future. We need competition.
Lurch27 May at 9:33 @Magius - right you are. Still awaiting certification for Xbox. Can't say I've seen much change in performance although moving through the menus seems more responsive.
