ChimeranMan29 April at 18:37 Anyone want a voucher for 30% off ME: Andromeda? I'm not sure if these are transferable, but PM me if you want to give it a shot - I'll send you the code.
ChimeranMan28 April at 14:11 Thanks Vice. I'm going to weigh up my options. I've had my PS3 since mid 2009 without any hassles and it has seen countless hours, I'd rather try repair it than take on a refurbished unit that could have its own problems.
Vice Cerberus28 April at 13:28 @ChimeranMan partserve doesn't actually repair consoles they just give you a refurbished model. I would know all I need was a new internal battery for my ps3 clock told me I will receive a refurbished model from them if I bring it in
ChimeranMan28 April at 13:16 @Lurch - thanks for the info, man. Appreciate it
Lurch28 April at 12:08 @ChimeraMan - retail gus can confirm but I think PartServe officially handles warranties and repairs on all Playstation products in SA - [link]
They might be able to help you out and possibly point you in the direction of some officially refurbished PS3s.
ChimeranMan28 April at 10:38 @All - can anyone give me a recommendation on who to contact for PS3 repairs.
@Tea - any chance you'd be able to organise a PS3 console for me? Can't seem to find anywhere.
TheOneMCMK28 April at 10:36 @Lurch I prefer physical copies, i'm a collector like that.
I do buy digital exclusive games though
Magius28 April at 10:12 @TheOne I picked up a WiiU when retailers were dumping them so it was worth it for R1k. Played a few games on it, but best by far was Xenoblade 2. Only game I really put time into. After that I realised I need to hold on with the Switch
Lurch28 April at 9:51 @TheOne - did you ever keep an eye out for some of the digital games available in Wii U/Switch? It's rare but sometimes the Nintendo online store has a couple titles on sale., especially older stuff that is hard to find in retail.
